Academic Qualifications: I worked for a professional tutoring company for a while teaching math and chemistry to students. My style of teaching is catered to the student whether it be help on problems, understanding concepts or even instilling a bit more interest in the subject. I aspire to be a teacher one day because I think high school is the best time to develop study habits, skills and ambitions. Also growing up in the Bay Area, I know from experience how hard it is to survive in this competitive environment. I want my students not only to grow academically, but personally as well. The goal is for them to come out of tutoring with a better understanding of the subject and also how to study to apply for other courses. I also want to be able to guide them through the hardships of high school and help prepare them better for upper level education. Piano Qualifications: I have been taking piano lessons since I was 5 years old and have even continued to play throughout college and even now. I was classically trained in sight reading, ear training and music theory. In college, I was in an acappella group and directed it for one year. If singing is something the protege is interested in, that can easily be implemented into piano lessons as well. I want my piano lessons to be for people of all levels–whether starting an instrument for the first time, trying to improve a certain piece or just recreational pop music playing fun. I plan to have it be catered to each individual as well. The only reason I have ended up playing and loving piano for so long on my own til now is because I was able to follow my own passions for what pieces I wanted to play.

Hobbies
Aside from music, I also enjoy a good RPG game. Right now, I'm a big fan of the Nintendo Switch and am super stoked for Kingdom Hearts III. Fun fact about myself: I'm like the tea version of a coffee addict. On the music side, I love EDM, pop and of course, Disney songs. One day, I want to be able to fully create my own music and hopefully become Youtube semi-famous.
