I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology, with high honors. I am currently in my gap year before heading to medical school August 2019.
Experience
I've been extremely involved in teaching and tutoring since high school and have loved all my experiences. I have taught computer science and math in high school and was the chemistry lead tutor for residential services at UC Berkeley for 3 years. I've also taught SAT classes (I scored a 2330 back in high school) during college and was a teacher scholar for general chemistry lab. I scored at the 94th percentile for MCAT and am strong in the sciences. I'm passionate about teaching and tutoring and have had the joy of watching many regular students thrive in their classes and improve their scores significantly after working together. I am available for tutoring in the south bay area/San Jose/Cupertino/Saratoga area. Specific subject matter I teach: - Humanities: Everything up to high school level - Science: basic elementary/middle school science, AP Chemistry and Biology and Physics - Test Prep: Any high school entrance test, ACT, PSAT, SAT, MCAT My specialties are standardized test prep, chemistry, and biology. I also teach lower high school and middle school classes.

Hobbies
In my free time, I love to play table tennis - I’ve been playing competitively for 12 years and still compete nationally! I also enjoy playing piano and violin and love going to concerts, especially classical and EDM/electronic ones. You can also find me traveling, enjoying nature, reading, and finding (and yelping) good eats.
