Senior Neuroscience and Public Health Major at the University of Rochester(Class of 2018). Dean's Scholarship Recipient, Excellent Academic Standing(Dean's List) throughout college career. Graduated high school as a National Commended Merit Scholar in addition to being an AP scholar with Distinction.
Experience
I have been a Chegg Tutor as well as currently privately tutor students all over the Bay Area in a variety of subjects. I am also a teaching assistant in the Department of Biology at my university, where I have helped teach and tutor students in a multitude of biological concepts. I regularly tutor students either in person or online on exams such as the SAT, ACT, or AP exams, drawing on my own experiences acing these test. Ultimately I want to use the vast amount of test taking skills and conceptual learning methods that I have developed throughout my academic career, to best support and foster growth and improvement in my students in their desired areas. Additionally, I want to use some of my experiences in leadership( I am the president of a grassroots student run non profit) and learning to provide my students with an example of how to use strong academic skills to improve and mature in other facets of pre-professional life.
